Typically, when you hire an agency or contractor to do work for your company, you keep your guard up. It often feels like you have to, these people don’t know your company, they aren’t a part of the team, and they don’t have to stay loyal. You need to protect your bottom line and that means making sure nobody is trying to pull one over on you by overcharging, producing low-quality work, or disappearing before the project is complete. We understand this. We know your company is like a piece of your soul. It is your passion poured into something tangible.
That is why we are looking to flip the script on agency-client relations because we understand how important your company is. When we work with a client, in our minds, we are a real part of your team. We keep your best interests at the forefront of our minds. We could prioritize our own profits, take on 50 clients at a time, churn through cookie-cutter websites and all go home at the end of the week knowing we did the bare minimum. Maybe our wallets would be a little thicker, but our hearts would be empty.
So how do we do this? What is the Kuvio difference? Several different things that come together to help us fulfill our mission of exceeding client expectations with creative solutions.
We do what we love, giving you more time to do what you love
Building websites and apps is what we are passionate about. As a result, we spend a lot of time learning and trying new things, so that you can feel confident that we have the skills and knowledge to make the right decisions. This means you can spend more time on what you’re passionate about.
We go above and beyond… we can’t help it
We are always looking for ways to innovate and add special touches to your project that will make it extra functional and unique. This benefits the final product and also benefits our team because we are able to try new things and be creative during every project we work on.
We are honest
Sometimes what our clients ask for is not what is in their best interest. There could be a lower-cost solution that they aren’t aware of. Or maybe they want to update only one part of their website, but doing so will make the rest of it ineffective. Often, it would be best for our bottom line to keep quiet about this, but it just isn’t in our nature. We promise 100% transparency with our clients and always keep their best interests in mind.
We are efficient
We don’t have an office and our full-time employees only work thirty hours per week. This means that when we are working we are deeply focused. These factors add up to cost savings for us that we pass on to you. We have gotten feedback that our pricing seems too good to be true, but we promise our estimates are accurate and we will deliver what you have asked for.
We love teamwork
We are a remote team, so maybe you were thinking everyone keeps to themselves for their work. This couldn’t be farther from the truth. We have hired people who are outstanding in their own area of expertise, but who also know the value of collaboration. Our team stays in constant communication and our best ideas come when we are working together.
We stay in touch
“Ok, here is the final invoice. It was nice working together.” This is what it might sound like when your project is completed at other agencies. We treat the “end” of your project a bit differently. We know that once we hand your website or app over to you there still may be last-minute changes and tweaks and we will be here for that. In the long-term, if two years from now you decide you need a new feature, we will be there then too. We don’t make sales, we build relationships.
We want to gain your trust
Our primary goal when we work together is to ensure that you trust us. We want you to feel 100% confident in the way we do things and the work that we do. When we have mutual trust with clients it is easier for us to get creative, run experiments, and deliver the most effective final product. We always want clients to feel comfortable with us so we can be successful partners.
We know we probably seem crazy. It’s possible this seems too good to be true. Or maybe you’re thinking, but what is wrong with the way other agencies operate? These are all very fair reactions, to be honest, a had a few of these thoughts myself when I was being hired at Kuvio. Then I had a call with the team and I realized that there was something different happening here and that it was something I needed to be a part of. I want you to feel the same way!
